LAS campus

Online training

At las campus, you can pursue online courses and modules to acquire or brush up theoretical qualifications for working with laboratory animals.

Our courses are designed for teaching/acquiring the knowledge required for animal experiment work according to EU recommendations and, in Germany, according to the ordinance on protection of laboratory animals (TierSchVersV). A course thus consists of several parts: a general part (e.g. Course 01 TierSchVersV) and relevant species-specific content (Courses 01.1 and following courses). The composition of the course may be adapted to country-specific requirements. The main focus at present is on the training required in Germany for people who conduct or plan and design animal experiments (TierSchVersV Annex 1 Section 3).

Against this background, “courses” are only open to participants whose institute/facility/course organizer have concluded a framework agreement with LAS interactive (vtk online) and then guarantees/provides practical training for participants.

Modules, on the other hand, are intended for personal qualification and may also be booked by private individuals.
